Order any ¾” Mueller® meter valve with the new insulated extended length tailpiece, or order just the tailpiece and add its convenience to any ¾” Mueller insulated valve you already have. This new option adds 4” to the outlet of the valve and does away with the short nipple normally used when installing the valve, saving one less joint to make up or potentially leak. Strong steel construction features a long knurled area for ample wrench contact, and zinc chromate conversion coating for corrosion protection. It uses the same O-ring sealed nylon insulated union design that Mueller introduced and that decades of field use have proven its long term reliability.
